What to expect

We read every message and reply when a reply is needed. Replies usually take about one week. To help us answer in one message, name the guide or page you are asking about and describe your question in a few clear sentences.

Messages that report an error are checked against the official source before anything changes on the site.

What we do not do

• We do not respond to requests for paid links or sponsored posts. The site carries no paid content.
• We do not give emergency help. In an emergency, call 911.
• We cannot confirm today’s rules for a campground. Contact the park, forest or campground directly, or read its official page.
